Boksburg-Brakpan Outfall Sewer 1987
The joint Boksburg-Brakpan (1200mm and 1350mm diameters respectively) outfall sewer consisted of a 9,3km concrete sewer pipeline.
Included in this project was the construction of a 320m pipe bridge to support the 1200mm diameter pipeline.
The maximum depth of excavation was 8,5m most of which was in dolomite rock.
